Kim Hughes
I graduated from the University of Otago in 1982 and have been practicing Dentistry throughout this time. I travelled to the UK in 1989 and spent 5 years practicing in both the National Health and Private sector. I have been practicing at Redcliffs dental since 1994.
I love the science and art of Dentistry and enjoy getting to know my patients and making them as comfortable as possible whilst I help transform smiles and making a visit to the Dentist fun and enjoyable. I am a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and the Canterbury branch. I regularly attend continuing education courses on all dental disciplines. I am also a member of a local study group where a group of dentists meet monthly to discuss current dental topics.
I’m married with two adult children and four grandchildren. When not practicing dentistry I enjoy socializing with new people, walking, cycling, jewellery making, travel, reading and cooking.
